Bitch is crazy.
University of Washington student who was accused of murdering her Brtish roommate while on a study abroad program in Perugia Italy back in 2007. The prosecution claimed it was some kind of satanic sex game murder. The prosecution also completely botched the investigation and basically tried to save face by charging her and her Italian boyfriend.
I don't think she did it, but I think she's fucked up.

SHES HOT
On 22 December 2009, the Corte d'Appello upheld Guede's convictions, but cut his sentence to 16 years.[124] In March 2010, the court explained it reduced Guede's sentence by 14 years because he was the only one of the three defendants to apologise to the Kercher family for his "failure to come to her rescue".
Wait so accusing someone is now a crime? I don't quite follow that..

Defamation, apparently.
I can honestly say I have no idea who she is or what she did. FEELS GOOD MAN
She should be in jail for life for falsely accusing that guy. So fucked up.
The prosecution can appeal this, right? Can she leave Italy?
Prosecutors can appeal the acquittal to Italy's highest court. There was no word late Monday if they planned to do so.
It wasn't clear how soon Knox could leave Italy but nothing in Italian law would prevent her from returning home, even if prosecutors appeal, legal experts say.

A slander conviction against Knox, who falsely accused barman Patrick Lumumba of the murders, was upheld, but since that was a three-year sentence it was considered time served.
The Italian Supreme Court later found that Knox's human rights were violated because the police did not read her her legal rights, appoint her a lawyer or provide her an official interpreter and that her signed statement was inadmissible for Knox's and Sollecito's criminal trial.
Btw, I don't do criminal because I hold very strong stances in terms of justice and they don't always line up with society.
She's been in jail for four years, I think that's enough. And so did the appeals jury:Four years is not enough for me. Like I said these people are a danger to society and I would not want them on the streets. In this case she would have been in jail this amount of time anyhow for the murder trial, so it's not like she will feel she was "punished" for the false accusation.QuoteA slander conviction against Knox, who falsely accused barman Patrick Lumumba of the murders, was upheld, but since that was a three-year sentence it was considered time served.

Lumamba was held for all of two weeks, before being released.

And also make broad judgements without reading the facts!
two wrongs don't make a right
Sorry, I feel the same way about those women who get found out to be making up false rape accusations. These people should be locked away for life because they are a danger to society.
Who cares. Could have been 1 day, no days. He got lucky that he had an alibi. If he didn't he could have been jailed for the rest of his life. You never know if a false accusation will lead to a day in jail, a hit to reputation, or the death penalty. The risk is far too high.

You guys are ok with a crazy bitch chick pinning a MURDER on an innocent guy and almost RUINING his life and putting him in jail forever because he was some poor sap who happened to be black?
Sorry, I feel the same way about those women who get found out to be making up false rape accusations. These people should be locked away for life because they are a danger to society. Any random innocent person can be accused of murder or rape and have their life destroyed out of the blue because these people exist. A money slap on the wrist is not sufficient penalty for the crime. Who says they won't falsely accuse someone else again?
At least put them in mental institutes.

but I'm siding that she knew what she was doing when she pinned it on the guy.
This thread was supposed to be fun! I've created a monster!
Yes. I now owe Italy a couple thousand euros :(
