Girl I know, only 4/5 years younger then me, while watching a trailer for a well known movie:

"Is this movie really from 2001? It looks so old"

"Thats the title, its from the '60's"

"Ugh I don't like old movies, I don't have the patience to watch them"

I don't know if I'm more offended by her not knowing the movie at all, or not caring to know it either. It was a pretty hilarious moment though, since we were with a group of people and everyone looked at her
and started laughing, since we thought she was joking for a second.

He was solo when I saw him, if I remember right.  Beyond that incident, it was essentially Name-dropping with David Allen Coe; he would rattle off names of artists who he'd worked with or wrote songs for, tell an ancedote, play the song in question for a few seconds and move on to the next story.  Didn't play a single song beginning-to-end in the entire duration of his show.

It's weird. Half of the parties I go to are All White People only, the other half are parties put on by Jamaicans that I know (Jamaican girls are HOTTTT) or Mexicans that I am the only white boy in attendance at both such events. I guess I am pretty well liked by all.

What is crazy is that I have to be the one to bring the weed to those. Yeah I thought it was weird too. But GAWDDAMN at the mushrooms they have. No wonder they don't fuck with pot. Unnecessary when you got a pocketful of shrooms like those. Easily the best I ever seen, completely different species than Cubensis. One gram will destroy your ego and have you laughing and rolling on the floor in a completely different reality.

I get ya. I don't personally get "offended" or outraged. I just don't know what any of the shit is. Get me drunk and play some crappy Britney Spears song I actually have heard of, and I'm acting a fool on the dance floor.

I do get offended when my mom tells me to watch 2 1/2 Men because it's the funniest show on TV. But it's the double over with laughter, "Oh Mom, you're so funny, funnier than 2 1/2 Men in fact!" kind of reaction.

I'll admit, I'm a total party pooper when it comes to music. I don't mind classic rock but can't stand hearing top40, rap, or reggae... usually the parties I go to tend to be more EDM-oriented in nature though.

The energy in the room always goes way up once reggae gets played. I'm sure that we go to completely different types of parties though.

I don't care for reggae.  It's not particularly bad to me.  I just feel out of place when I listen to it I guess.  Like watching the music parts of a Dave Chappelle episode.  I can't relate to it at all.

I like "dub reggae" (according to Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music, this is a genre), it's really the vocals that turn me off from the rest of reggae.

The vocals definitely turn me off about reggae.  Not much makes me feel whiter than listening to reggae.  Not in a bad way.  Probably the same feeling a black person gets when they watch The Price Is Right or something.

That part was kind of a joke :p

But no, I really do feel out of place when I listen to it.  I can't relate to the music at all.  It's not offensive or bad.  Just mostly "eh".  Especially when I'm with a group of people who are totally into it and talking about it.  I have to bite my lip from saying "I really can't stand the way he sings.  I just want him to sing normal.  Can he do that?"

Other types of music that make me feel that way: Death metal, most heavy metal, screamo, "hardcore", that poetic rap stuff (like on Dave Chappelle), modern gangster rap and modern hip hop.  Hip Hop is the only one that's actually offensive AND alienating to me.   The music sucks and I don't care about going to clubs and bitches and hos and your fucking bling and how you'll kick some dude's ass.  I.Don't.Care.

In terms of a hijab? I find that very attractive. There are a lot of beautiful Arab chicks around here, and IMHO the hijab magnifies the face in a great way. I see so many Arabic chicks with amazing eyes, like green and shit.

It makes me wish I could see that long black hair even more.
