I know everyone likes to give Web of Shadows big sloppy blojobs, but I LIKED Shattered Dimensions a lot- Edge of Time just feels overproduced and unfocused. Ill prolly finish it but the combat doesnt feel as tight and the camera is distinguished mentally-challenged for some reason.

You bought this too!? :usacry
-
Im all bout supporting the C+ games
-
People are dying to know: X-men Destiny or Edge of Time. Which is worse? :D
-
Destiny is worse

Destiny is worse
And you bought both of them.
Activision owes you a Christmas card, MAF.

I think my problem is ive been playing Shattered Dimension on PC recently, so playing Edge of Time reminds me of all the things theyve changed for the worse.

All the latest Spider-Man games are poop. I rented this today...I'm taking it back tomorrow. Hooray for Blockbuster's monthly rental pass.
-
Only good SpiderMan is the PSX game... but I hear Shattered Dimensions is the closest we will get to it
-
I'll play it at $10 for the Spidey humor and fanservice.
-
Was watching the GB Quick Look for this game, I had bad bad flashbacks to the Sonic 2006 LP.

$2 at Redbox.

Why is Redbox better than Gamefly or some other walk-in rental service?
Does it arrive same- or next-day?
There's nothing like this in Japan, so I'm curious. I heard all the Blockbuster and Hollywood Video places went out of business while I've been gone. I know about Gamefly and Netflix, and am mildly jealous.

redbox is a big red box you walk up to in front of stores and get games out of. like a vending machine but for games
-
The site says, "make your reservation, then go to a nearby Redbox to pick it up" -- I'm guessing you have to specify which Redbox you're going to visit, and they text you when it arrives?
Or are there a bunch of games already in it?

Each Redbox has different items (god knows why). You can rent from any Redbox, and return the game to any redbox. You don't have to "reserve" - it's just there for convenience. I dont think Redbox is really a good value. Each day is $2. Considering most of us dont have the time of day to even play an hour, you'll already spend up to $20 for a week. GF is only ~$18 for a month for 1 disc.

Yeah, the time crunch can be annoying with Redbox. The only way I was able to beat X-men Destiny before I had to return the game the next day by 9pm (or pay another $2 fee) was that my wife was out of town and I had nothing else going on.

If it wasn't before, it's confirmed now that Beenox is doing the Amazing Spider-Man movie tie-in.
