they wanted to do that but they had some technical problem of sort and ended up doing the original instead

There are like a billion other games they could have translated instead of this one, why not 7th Dragon?

Well I mean, you are good at programming, so you should be able to understand most of the complexities involved. All you need is a translator or two or three. And we have several here, let alone over at the other board.
