I can't believe I never listened to Big L until a few weeks ago. His voice... man so good.
I dunno how I could have listened to hip hop for 20 years without hearing this shit.

overrated but better than big

Nope. Phoenix agrees with me. Big L is one of those rappers who had talent, but releases one album, dies, and ends up being martyrized far more than he originally was. Much like Big.

The Don Killuminati and Me Against The World > Ready to Die
For that matter, All Eyez On Me > Life After Death
And when I say overrated, I mostly mean in regards to rap fans.

overrated but better than big
I won't be trolled

Two albums you fucking idiots.

As a rapper Biggie shat on Tupac. I'm a huge Tupac stan and will admit that shit. But overall Tupac>Biggie all day
Big L was too dope for me to say he was overrated. Yea he released a couple albums and died, yea he was a punchline rapper...but he was THE punchline rapper.
If he had lived he was going to sign to Rocafella

I guess we'll have to disagree breh. Also Ready To Die is better than all of Tupac's albums, come on Himu. AEOM is great for a double album but still has too much filler, not to mention bad verses from the Outlawz. Whereas Ready To Die is perfect outside of the stupid skits, and a cohesive piece of work.
7 Day Theory....Toss it Up, Just Like Daddy, White Manz World...nah. Great album overall but nah man
too bad Life After Death is good but ruined by filler. If they trimmed it to 11-12 tracks it would be amazing, nearly on par with Ready To Die
