So, I'm trying to figure out what to buy this Christmas and I thought I'd make a thread where we could share/suggest gift ideas. Post someone that you're shopping for and hopefully someone else might have a cool idea for a present! Posting general things or sites or stores you think carry good stuff is welcome too.
I’ll start this off:
Sister: Into music, lately stoner metal and indie stuff. Maybe music recommendations in that vein would be good. Also she’s a casual photographer and I have no idea if there are any good camera accessories or other photography related things in my price range (< $100-ish).
Mom: Likes reading, has gotten into exercise/yoga recently. Dunno what books she’d want (I know she used to read Oprah book club stuff and the like) and I don’t know what kind of exercise stuff would make for a good present. I know she already has a yoga mat and other things she needs for that.
Dad: Was thinking of getting him a new Shop-Vac as I know the one he has is old and falling apart but it seems like kind of a lame gift so I dunno. He also likes movies but isn’t really a film buff per se.
