I had to take of the faceplate, press the eject button, then jiggle and pull it to get it back out. Closed it, to see if it would now open by itself and nope. I had to do the same thing all over again to get it back out. Am I screwed? Will it get worse and then just not open at all? Or is this a common problem that can easily be fixed?
This would happen as soon as I fixed my HD storage troubles... :-\

I've got the same issue with my Xbox, I can usually get it open if I mash around on the front of the drive.

Continued messing with it for a while. It works fine now. Crisis averted.
