I always thought the operative component of hangover food was grease.  Pickle juice doesn't have grease!

got a 2 day hangover here after new years, so gonna treat myself to a couple of Quarter Pounders. McD's is definitely my fave hangover food. Bland, reliable and greasy. Always goes down easily.

Bloody Marys are good for hangovers, as are pre-mixed bourbon and cola drinks. They have alcohol, sugar and caffeine. What hangovers crave!

For whatever reason, the past couple of years my go to has been sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice from a cheap-o Chinese place.  Always seems to do the trick for some reason.

Do they even have those in Japan?

Yeah, they do, now. "Asa-Makku" ("Morning McD's") came to Japan in 1994, as near as I can remember. When I arrived in 1993, there was no morning stuff. Japanese people would visit McD's at 7 a.m. and get a hamburger and fries. It was oddly disturbing. When I moved to Kyoto in 1994, the McMuffin had appeared, but some McDonald's were not carrying them.

Unfortunately, instead of the McBiscuit series, those loathesome McGriddles were instead brought over.

Lamb Kebab or some fries do the trick, always.

 :lol

That is an epic baby.

McD's horrid, bitter coffee is also pretty good with the biscuit, but it's pretty optional. Adding hashbrowns risks the chance of extended puking, so... no hashbrowns. Just the biscuit and coffee.

The New Year's day hangover was so bad it was more like 35 mg. of hydrocodone and water.
