Because I need to wash away the 80's shame that I felt after seeing the trailer for Rock of Ages, which I think is purposefully designed by our evil corporate overlords to make us retroactively hate everything about the 80's.

Please do! Even though I never had a proper 80s synth (and the prices for vintage gear are going through the roof at the moment) I love reading about this stuff.
