Title: Fallafel > tacos?
Post by: Barry Egan on March 01, 2012, 11:23:17 PM
Tacos are alright I suppose.  But what about if you want a crispy and filling lunch without supporting an evil megacorporation or Mexican drug cartel?

I like mine with hard boiled egg.  Can you put egg in a post-breakfast taco?  NOPE.

There is a falafel bell and it's called Maoz vegetarian and eventually it will win the fast food wars.  Unfortunately there are none in the Shat Pack region.

What's cool about it is that they have an open toppings bar for your sandwich and you can go hog wild:

Tacos > *

And yes you can still put egg in post breakfast tacos.  Some Mexicans do it.  Egg potatoes and beef and sometimes beans.  That's an awesome dinner taco.

Falafel King in Seattle is awesome, duder. I'd rather have a taco truck taco, but falafel is still awesome.

A thousand times yes to falafels (made with hummus; yellow on the inside) with eggs and "taheenah." Then again I'm biased, just like all of you racist crackers.

A falafel vendor in India (lots of Israeli tourists in the area) topped his falafels sammies with fries.  Off. The. Chain.

I prefer falafels to tacos. True story.

However, shawermas > all.

Ok, now you're officially good people.

If you've actually eaten some really good pork or fish tacos, you wouldn't have even made this thread.

I've never had a fish taco. I might buy some tortillas (and garlic!) and make some, since I've got a bunch of tilapia and corn
