Started it for the first time in January.

I just wanted it to end after a few hours. When looking in an FAQ to see how many chapters I still had to go, I realized that I wasn't even half-way through. Never touched it again afterwards.

Dead Space was the best 3 hour game this generation.  Too bad the other 5 hours sucked.

You say that about almost every game.  Mirror's Edge is like the only game you like from beginning till end.

I paused at what I think is chapter 6. I recall having to finish some other games first for writing purposes

I agree, System Shock 3 rocks.

Dead Space has the gayest monsters of all time and is EXCRUCIATING on repeat plays. I'm playing it off and on to finish off my final achievement and I can only last like 20 minutes before needing to turn it off. Such a turd

It seems to be a game made entirely of borrowed material, but it knows what to do with most of it so that's okay.

Controls are ass tho. Keep getting stuck on scenery that I can't see and sprint is more of a relaxed jog. RE4 has damn tank controls and yet it's more fluid than this.

Playing with a controller but switched to mouse during the turret section, ACED it in one try, tried to continue playing with kb+m, the horror, the horror.

you know, i've never really understood "fetch quest" as a criticism when the journey itself is enjoyable

we are talking about dead space right.

I like stomping on things.  Arms, heads, crates, Resident Evil discs, you name it.
