It sucks, uninstall and get Steam.
-
Steam needs ME3
-
EA wanted to put it on Steam, but Gabe told them to take that crap and ram it, and Dragon Age 2 while they're at it until Bioware is able to live up to the standards of RPGs created in third-world countries like Poland.
-
Valve is just keeping crappy games off their service. :bow2
-
I dl'ed ME3 in 12 mins yesterday :tophat
One note - the app wouldn't take any of my ccs, but the web page did. :???

That's crazy bandwidth. How much do you pay per month? I pay $55/month and maximum DL speed is 1.5 mb/s.
-
I think he's from Japan where 70-100 mbps is common.
Furthermore, I live in Iowa, I pay $50 a month and my maximum DL speed I've seen so far is 4.6 MB/sec.
I think you're getting hosed.

I live in a hilly area where supposedly fiber optics will never be installed. :'(
Right now I'm with Time Warner cable, which is the only broadband option other than DSL. I don't even know if DSL qualifies as broadband. I tried it once and it felt like surfing on a phone modem again.
-
I dl off steam crazy fast, so its all Origin being lame to me for some reason
-
Does Seattle have high bandwidth?

100mb/s fibre optic - costs me under $15/mo (the whole apartment block is contracted so we get a big discount). I pasted a speed test result here once and it made everyone else ill :tophat
The Origin dl was only 10mb/s on avg...not that crazy.
-
I was able to grab ME3 in 30mins off orgin.
Guess, they just like me more :smug
I was able to grab ME3 in 25mins off uTorrent.
Guess I just had more seeders :smug

That's nuts. I'd have to buy a 2tb hard drive every month with that kinda bandwidth. No wonder you don't need too much SSD space since every game would only take 15 mins to redownload.
-
wtf is up with Origin?
Electronic Arts
-
Smooth - I'm at 7.5 TB of HDD space right now, most of 'em groaning
-
Almost 7.5 TB of groaning material? Damn, you're a bigger perv than me!
-
:lol
Yeah, it is true about the DL times...I never bother backing-up games I delete from Steam anymore (I used to delete them from the SSD, then back-up on a regular HDD). I can re-DL and install them to SSD in pretty much the same time as it would take to un-archive and install from a slower disk.
-
50% off a bunch of stuff this week!
may get the shameful sims medieval pack. :hyper
-
strangely enough, i get faster downloads on Origin than I do on Steam.
3.0mb/s vs. 2.3mb/s
