US soldier kills 16 Afghans, deepening crisis
BALANDI, Afghanistan (AP) — An American soldier opened fire on villagers near his base in southern Afghanistan Sunday and killed 16 civilians, according to President Hamid Karzai, who called it an "assassination" and furiously demanded an explanation from Washington. Nine children and three women were among the dead.

First the Koran burning, now this? I got a bad feeling about this shit, brehs

We've been too long in a hostile environment. Time to shore everything up and pull out before things get worse, which they're almost certainly to do.
-
I read about this. What the fuck.
-
There are reports it was more than one soldier, dunno if that's true or not. Still I'm confused...how the hell did a soldier get off base in full gear early in the morning?
-
One soldier, he had done like 3 tours in Iraq and this was his first there.

First the Koran burning, now this?
First paper now 12 innocent women and children?
-
We've been hitting innocents with drones for a while- afghans have plenty of reason to be pissed off. If anything this incident speaks for the impact multiple deployments are having on our troops.
-
But we just got there over 10 years ago. :'(
-
The official pullout isn't scheduled for another two years. :(

Winning hearts and minds, first with bombs, then with land mines, then with drones, now with psychopaths!
-
dont forget the rape and waterboarding

If I know anything about Afghans, it's that you know absolutely nothing about Afghans.
Yeah, no kidding - the women are the most terrifying people on the planet by most accounts. They do most of the torturing, IIRC.
-
And I heard the children have a taste for human flesh.

We can only leave when we've won.
We fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here at home.
And when we leave, we should do so through Iran, Iraq and Syria. Leaving democracy, and hopefully Christianity, in our wake.

When they're all dead, Mitt Romney can give them a posthumous baptism.
