Following up on The Dandy's suggestion, I'm sure we could find you some BBC radio 4 comedy series you'd like if you'd be willing to go beyond just stand-up.

Post by: Howard Alan Treesong on March 26, 2012, 06:10:40 PM: We've heard the $5 Louis CK and Aziz Ansari sets already. Early Woody Allen is a good idea. I'd say we like: Louis CK, Patton Oswalt, David Cross, David Sedaris audiobooks, old Richard Pryor and George Carlin of course.

I'm open to suggestions for interesting podcasts or humorous radio shows (I grabbed the BBC production of Dirk Gently) as long as they can be found easily.

Saturday Night Fry is kind of like sketch show by Stephen Fry and he's joined each episode by some of his friends such as Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent, and Emma Thompson.

When Whose Line Is it Anyway started its life on Radio 4, Stephen Fry was one of the regulars. Generally speaking the show was pretty bad since they didn't have the format sorted, but the low-lights were definitely whenever Stephen had to sing, which was every damn episode.
