More bizarre than funny. I haven't kept up on what he's done since The Room so I found this really surprising and awfully weird.

I watched the first episode (I think it was Mortal Kombat) and it was awful. Tommy Wiseau was only funny when he didn't know he was funny.

Many agree that it's shitty by the terms of the "actual movie" genre but it's not in that genre so that's completely irrelevant.

It is shitty by the terms of its genre, the "so bad it's good" genre. It is not that good at being so bad it's good.
