no idea where you think you're going with that one but dude, no-one in the year of our lord 2012 is gonna buy a desktop monitor just to read comics on when the problem has been SOLVED in a far superior manner by tablets

Tablets are for bed time only for me.

Comics is just a bonus. Working with portrait stuff is the big deal here.

A windows 8 tablet with Steve Ballmer as the wallpaper.

Seriously though, pick up a rotatable monitor instead of wide only next time you feel like buying one. Comes in pretty handy.

Yup I am already the proud owner of a secondary monitor thats like almost exclusively used for manga/comics

I only rotate my monitor to play mame games.  I never even considered reading comics on it.
