Title: Hey Evilbore, do you think the new Wes Anderson film...

I think Wes Anderson is a good director. It would be neat if he found a co-writer that was interested in adding some complexity to the characters around all the scenery. But I don't just go to movies for the characters, I also enjoy seeing things that are beautiful and larger then life. Like Jinfash's cock. And since they aren't showing Jinfash's cock at the theater tomorrow, I'll probably be seeing Moonrise Kingdom.

Also the entire cast is really great.

kids aren't that big of a deal. I mean, as long as I don't have to deal with them personally then I'm more or less indifferent. These kids were trained to follow a script so hopefully the things they say won't be too dumb, at least in context.

I tried looking it up on WhatTheFont (http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/) but I didn't get any matches. I guess it's either something obscure or a custom typeface someone made for the movie.

Dude's movies have plenty of subtle characterisation and pathos even if he doesn't always get it right. Save that shit for the real frauds like Burton and Del Toro (and Gilliam - you heard me).

Moonrise Kingdom

A Wes Anderson movie. You already know what you think about it. This one seems less quirky then his others and has a more focused plot, but remains highly stylized. His movies always leave a smile on my face and this one was no different.

Wasn't crazy about it; it has its moments, but the lighter material is more often too precious for it's own good—territory Anderson seemed to be knowingly tiptoeing around in his previous films. Alexandre Desplat's score is disappointing, too.

Also, if I'm identifying this trend correctly, stop working with Roman Coppola, please.
