Title: I got called up for jury duty

It's in FEDERAL COURT and the district court for my district is nearly 160 miles away!  :derp

Apparently what I got [which was a questionnaire] is just so that they can determine whether I qualify to be called up for jury duty in the federal court at some future date. I do qualify, of course.

I was summoned as well. It has been moved back to early next month though. How much are you getting paid my nucca?

In CA it's $15 a day...if you get on a jury.

Ha. Mine is like $40 for full days, about $25 for half days. The first day and half day are lower though, I don't remember the exact numbers for them

Because of the distance I'll actually have to drive up there the night before they need me and get a hotel room. :lol
