Wifey is bothering me for one for Dance Central. Any cool games for it? Star Wars any good?
-
Say youll buy one if you can put it in her ass so she knows what owning a kinect is like
-
voice search is actually really convenient. If you entertain friends it's fun sometimes. But as far as real games, not party or gimmick games there's not much for you. Star Wars sucks donkey ass
-
Panzer dragon?
Otherwise nope.
-
wait there is a new panzer dragoon?
-
First, ask yourself this
Do you want to dance:
- like Usher?
- like Han Solo?
-
Shit. That's what I figured. I played the Disney game last year at E3 and it seemed alright, tho. You can play the new PD game with a controller though, right?

The voice search stuff I'm not too keen about, I had a car with Sync and I hardly ever used it. What are the good party games for it?

Dance Central is the only reason to bother with one. If you get the first game and the second, the original comes with a code to import all of its songs into DC2. I don't know if there's any other way to get them, but there's also really no point in bothering with the original.

My wife and I play Dance Central, or rather she plays and I'm a reluctant participant. It's kind a fun if I'm drunk enough......... I guess. We'll sometimes break out the game and have a dance off to decide certain things, like if I want to go someplace like Salty's and she'd rather go to the Olive Garden we'll let the winner decide. Goofy I know, but it at least it makes it interesting.
Most everything on it is garbage though. We played Child of Eden the other day and Kinect made it completely impossible. Kinect is the antidote for fun.

Just get her the newest wii dance game. Save you 100 bucks.
-
Dance Central and if you like Michael Jackson get the MJ Experience game. Kinect Sports is fun too if you ever have to entertain kids. Sometimes i get bored and play that a little. Kinect wouldn't be so bad if there were actually more games for it. There's just not enough content. I like the tech well enough but it's completed mis used or just plain under utilized.

I like Dance Central a bunch. If you have kids, Once Upon a Monster is also fun.
Zumba Fitness, despite the stellar sales numbers, is a hot mess of poor calibration. Avoid.
The pack-in Kinect Adventures! is surprisingly fun.
-
Your Shape is a pretty good fitness game, but not for me. Dance Central, Kinect Sports and Adventures are pretty good.
Child of Eden fucking sucked with Kinect

The Disney / Pixar games (mechanics are basically the same) are fun but totally for kids. Excruciating for adults unless you are playing with a child YOU LOVE VERY VERY MUCH. Ditto for Once Upon a Monster.
Dance Central is a legit reason to get a Kinect if your wife wants to dance, I'd say.
