For more than two years, my consoles have hardly ever been turned on when there weren't friends around to play fighting games. I haven't spent 1 minute playing a console game in 2012.

I wish Nvidia would hurry up with the 680 GTX supply though. I'm dying to play enhanced Witcher 2 with maximum settings. My current 580GTX SLI setup just can't handle it at 60fps.

Post by: Positive Touch on June 05, 2012, 03:52:17 PM: been on this for years. best thing about having a western-dominated scene now is PC PORTS FOR EVERYTHING. constant influx of amazing games, from no-budget indie games to big-budget hollywood gaming. not only that but with consoles as the target platform i haven't had to worry about upgrading at all because i can still run everything with ultra settings. hopefully in the next few years companies keep that in mind so we don't have WHATEVERS THE STRONGEST AVAILABLE as the target build for pc games.

Post by: tiesto on June 05, 2012, 06:56:12 PM: Thanks to GOG I have a huge backlog of classic PC titles to go through that I never beat back in the day - Myst, Riven, Anachronox, Fallout 1-2, and the :bow Ultima :bow2 series. Hopefully Falcom returns to the PC due to Vita being DOA, and we get some more Japanese interest in the PC (this seems like it's slooooowly starting to happen), that's really the only reason I buy consoles.
