Bionic Commando, bitches
-
dear microsoft: THESE SHOULD BE STANDARD PRICES FOR EVERY GAME ON THIS LIST
-
Where are these prices available?
-
Also the official game of The Bore: Viva Pinata Party Animals. :bow2
-
I thought Game of Thrones was our official pastime.
I prefer Toto washlet thrones.
-
The prices are live now... but they replaced Bionic Commando with Alone in the Dark ::)
-
I bought Rockstar Table Tennis. Forgot how good a two player game that is.

lol baitin' and switchin'. I would've given BC a shot at 400 based on how into it folks here are.
-
Bionic Commando is worth whatever they're selling it for, frankly, but I can't imagine buying it after being teased at a $5 price-point and having it subsequently yanked away.
You can probably find the disc release for around $5, though. I see Amazon has used copies for $7 with free shipping on $25+ orders.

Hyperlinks to the purchase pages are available, but some were malformed yesterday.
Yeah, I just came here to post that Alone in the Dark has filled the Bionic Commando slot. For anyone who cares, the sale is largely titles which metacritic'd around 60-70, but that sometimes doesn't mean much.
Kameo (double dip, since my copy is in Japan)
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
I am waffling on Dark Void, Surf's Up, Tornado Outbreak, and Viva Pinata Party Animals. Any fans of those games here?

Buy Party ANimals, bitch. Developed, designed, and marketed by bears for bears

I want to get Sega Tennis but I'd prefer a physical copy anyway.

as Robo said you can find physical copies for next to nothing. It's my GOTY 2009, with no exaggeration. It has flaws, but once you get the hang of the swinging the game is hnnnnng awesome, and the shooting and combat is great. Also very slick visuals (:bow Grin Engine :bow2), and some of the best sound design I've experienced this gen. They actually did the "dude talking to you on the radio" cliche right. One thing that stuck with me was the radio static filter used when Super Joe is talking to you. A very small touch but it really immersed me in the game for some reason.

Purchased, papa-bear. Thanks for the advice.
-
Also re-bought Conan, which I liked and didn't bring with me, and THQ can use all the help they can get.
Dark Void, against my better judgement, Table Tennis, Tornado Outbreak... Man, $5 sales are bad for me.
-
Sega Tennis is pretty good. Best game on that list.
-
I got Conan but it's... eh. It feels and controls really poorly. Some people at GAF said it's an okay GoW clone, but from the fifteen minutes I've played I'm not seeing that. Does it get better?

Kinda? I played on Hard, and was unable to clear the final boss. I am going to replay it on Normal, and finish unlocking all the 'cheevos.
It's pretty inconsistent, but I liked it just fine.
-
i'll slog through it some more then; thanks mate.
still kinda mad that they pulled BC off that list. was looking forward to replaying that. I dont even know why I traded in my disc copy of that awhile ago. hardly ever trade in games anyways.
-
I've got an unopened disc copy of Bionic Commando in Osaka -- thought about bringing it with me to California, but decided to just buy a bunch new games, creating A BI-COSTAL BACKLOG... :-\
-
oh shit it's demi.
i still don't play games anymore so i don't really have anything else to say.
