What are some reoccurring nightmares you have?
One that I have all the time (at least once a week) is of me being late to something. Usually it's being late to work or school.
The specific aspect of this dream that stands out is that I cannot seem to tie my shoes. It's what causes me to be late and I normally end up waking up while I'm fumbling with my laces.
I do have a thing about being on time and keeping my schedule very strict but I can't tell which came first, the fear of being late or the dreams. Maybe the dreams cause my fear? The world will never know I guess.

I think most of these are pretty common. I have the one where I signed up for a class (or accepted a job), completely forgot about it and never attended for months, and then suddenly remember when the final or some project is coming due.

Had the same reoccurring nightmare every night for the best part of 6 years - the nice thing is i could use it as a trigger for lucid dreaming :P
My dream would start with me lying in bed with me unable to sleep - as i looked upwards i'd notice the room getting darker as a shadow was cast across the room as the light from the window was obscured , i'd hear the usual clunk-clunk-clunk of metal

would be standing outside my window
there'd be an age as i would get out of bed and walk towards the curtains to open them to reveal it there - it would prime itself to blow me away and i'd run screaming for the door - sometimes it would open, sometimes there'd be no knob on the door.

These days my bad dreams are almost work related (not meeting a deadline, fucking up some other important thing, etc...)

I get the lame teeth falling out dream. Actually it's more like they're hanging by threads and I have to make the decision to tear them out. I usually wake up pretty certain my teeth are gone. Also I have a dream where I am lying in bed and my vision is frozen and can't move, and I spend the whole dream knowing I'm asleep and trying to wake up. that one's pretty horrible.
