this is actually a pretty decent deal.
-
Already have all the GoW games.
The Ratchet one is tempting.
Even the PSP one's
-
Killzone and Resistance would be nice. Next year I guess.
-
Sony PR blunders again.
Collection is actually $40 and the PSP games come on a voucher.

starting at $29.99!
...was that edited in after initial posting? If so, they suck. If that was there from the beginning, it's slimy but not inaccurate. Slimy PR is never surprising.
-
No it said "starting at" -- probably referring to Infamous 2 or something. Theres a comment that says it will be 40
-
Newegg has been good with giving 10$ off with preorders. I haven't done it yet, but it should be 30 with this
-
I like that Infamous is Sony's bitch series. PSN is hacked? Free Infamous 1. Need PSN Plus games? Free* Infamous 2. Need a character for Street Fighter X Tekken? Cole from Infamous. Need to pad out the Playstation Collections? Infamous series.
The GoW Collection is a decent deal but I'm surprised they're not throwing in a demo for the new one. Maybe Sony realized no one cared about it.

I'm wondering who these cater to. How many times have the GOW games been repackaged and resold now?

I guess it's them trying to get the audience who'll buy PS3 Super (ugly) Slim from buying the countless used copies littered at GameStop.

If it was all one bundle with no codes I would have bought it since it would have been the de-facto version (aside from Ascension).

I could understand this if it were as you described. But Takao is probably right.
-
never really played any of the ratchet games, so i'll get that
-
They should've done a Ratchet collection with the PS2, PSP, and PS3 games for $60.

That would be kind of a huge collection:
Ratchet & Clank
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
Ratchet & Clank: Up You Arsenal
Ratchet Deadlocked
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty
Secret Agent Clank
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One
I'd think that would be multiple Blu-Rays at that point, lol.

I think so too.
Gotta push something along with that new model

You could do it on two discs. The PS2/PSP ones can fit on one disc and the PS3 ones can fit on another as the PS3 games each max out at bout 14gigs each.

My only experience with the Ratchet series was a demo of the first PS3 game, and it seemed pretty good - I'd be interested in the collection...
-
it was $30 at newegg
come on demi trophy whore on ps3 too, gow games are easy for platinums
-
PS3 is wack. I'll turn it o when Ni No Kuni comes out.
-
Hmm, I thought the Ratchet collection was $30, but according to Amazon it is $40. Pass for now, then.
