Title: Way Of The Samurai 4

The game is up on PSN for $39.99.  Read that it's a little too similar to WoTS3 (but with added...sex?)  and now has a large faction of foreigners vying for control the game area. 

Anyone else getting it?

Nope...PSN only in the U.S.  Europe is getting a retail release for PS3.  Did WoTS4 even come out for the 360 in Japan?

There is no 360 version of WotS4.

I'm waiting until October and importing the disc version from Europe.

The game definitely feels like more of the same from my (limited) time spent with WoTS3.  It's also pretty ugly and has some frame rate and bad tearing issues.  But beyond that it's fun -and wacky- and that's all that really matters.

They also let you start out with one of three fighting styles: sword-based, spear-based, or bare-handed.  Did WoTS3 offer that?

I don't think WotS 3 gave you those choices. Haven't played it for a while.

Whoops, Play.com won't ship to the US, but Zavii.com will, and WotS 4 is cheaper to boot.

My short play session ended last night when I was searching for the girl I picked-up earlier in the afternoon to initiate sexy-time.  I got caught stealing and was thrown in jail.  This triggered a cut scene where a woman came to give me my punishment- it's the weird "game" shown in the trailer- they strip you naked, tie you to a rope, and you are slowly lowered down onto a gymnastics-like horse surrounding by flames.  You have to keep yourself up and then press your legs together to stay on the horse and avoid the flames...while the woman is slapping you.   :lol  I lost the mini-game and called it a night.

Is it bad that I immediately thought "this game is totally Sho Nuff!" when I saw that trailer?   :lol
