I feel kinda depressed and lonely! None of my friends ever want to hang out and I am having trouble finding a new girl! OKCupid was a total bust and I suck at finding a girlfriend in the real world! I'm bored as fuck all the time!

I am ok with my job and I make ok money but god dammit the price of living is ridiculous and i think i want to move out of california

Also, the only video games that interest me nowadays are on the pc but my PC fried and I bought this shitty laptop that cant handle games until i can save up for a new desktop :'(

Not me but my closest friend nearly went away FOREVER just for talking to a guy he never met before in his life, who both was under FBI surveillance and under indictment for dozens of RICO predicates.
The RICO statutes are completely fucked. I think you should actually have done what you're being accused of before they try to jail you forever. I know Boogie's gonna be all LOL WUT, but in this case I know he didn't do any of the stuff in question because this motherfucker never really got up off the couch to do anything except to piss, shit, and get more weed.

there's a yakuza living in my new apartment building and he's really noisy and aggressive. and my kid won't do his damned homework cuz he wastes his whole day playing video games and somehow i'm supposed to have the moral high ground to tell him not to do that, when in fact i did exactly that when i was his age.
It's going to be difficult if I ever have a nerdy kid. I was so distracted with making websites in high school I almost bombed out of most of my classes. Now I'm getting paid to do it and am using just about nothing I learned in high school. :-\

this year i'm tracking to be down in earnings around $2500, and meanwhile both my rent and paint prices went up, and the place i've been stuck contracting to has gone from taking my asshole from behind to putting my legs on their shoulders and staring me straight in the face where i can see their smile
probably just gonna go ahead and wrap this whole "running my own business" deal up at year's end
i'd say it's been a fun 15 years, but that'd just be me ignoring the fact that it's been a pretty shitty 15 years

Been out of school since 2010 and I still can't find a steady job. Last job was more of an internship I guess at a small accounting office and it basically ended once my boss found out that his mom, who was in the hospital for a while, wasn't gonna make it. I'm back to the annoying ass search, sending shitty emails, and filling out unnecessarily long applications.

Another old friend is leaving Japan next week. Seeing him for probably the last time on Saturday. I lose 2-3 good friends a year for this reason and it gets harder and harder to keep making the effort to make new friends.

When I got promoted late last year, while an MBA wasn't required, I was expected to get one for the job sooner rather than later. I blew past the Fall 2012 deadline because I was right in the middle of a huge crunch plus I was trying to fill two positions while receiving approximately 200 job applications for those positions. So I got a call from the VP a few days ago regarding me getting an MBA. I admit that I've been growing complacent - any time I wasn't working, I was screwing around online, hanging out with girls, and playing video games. I look at the the MBA school I want and the deadline is October 1st for Spring 2013 and you have to wait two weeks for the paperwork to process so essentially I have until September 14th to take the GMAT, get all of my letters of recommendation lined up, my application filled out, etc.
This is kind of a tall order because I've been really slacking on studying for the GMAT and to expect people to write letters of recommendation within a week or two seems kind of rude. So I will probably need to wait until Fall 2013 to start. Which kind of pisses me off because I've been putting off getting this thing forever and by the time I'll be done, I'll be 30. I wanted to get a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, which with an online program, is up to five years. So by the time I want to be done with my education, I'll be 35.
I just need to get off my ass and do something interesting. Anything, really.

I feel you man.
When you live in this kind of community of foreigners and people start leaving it gets real hard to try to make the effort. Lots of people come here to Ireland for a few months or a short while etc. and then leave. Nowadays I don't feel like socializing with someone if they are of the leaving kind.
These leavers also tend to bitch a lot.
