EDIT: Just checked my posting history, no personal growth whatsoever.this
EDIT 2: JESUS FUCK, MORE THAN 4 YEARS??!?!!
Icon Wars?
i have said repeatedly that i live under the horror that one day my son will be surfing and find all my ill informed air blowing and he will die of shame
However, there's a fine line - i'm personally sick of how boringly safe "opinions" are - what's the point of just being in the middle ground of "well i can see why... " and "oh, the financials of this are such that..."
and it's a trap that i have been falling into time and time again - just stick to what you believe in , but as a pro tip : if you have a preference - don't try to justify it with bullshit. Just wear it proud. If you prefer the PS3 to X360? that's just it - don't pull this "smoother texture" wank - just go with "look, i just fucking prefer it"
too many people try to justify preference, and there's no reason to really. So i personally find the people who come up with reasons that -just happen- to fit their company of choice the most annoying of fanboys ("Oh i hate 1080p anyways and 720p is amazing (As long as it's not above 30fps) - plus RRoD ate my sisters dog and made her pregnant" - DONT DO IT - just go with "i'm a Nintendo fan and i don't like Microsoft" - grow a fucking pair))
I still go on forums because nobody else I know wants to discuss or even plays video games. Most of my friends these days just zone out to ESPN. Most of my coworkers are in their 50s and 60s. Hence, forums.

The older I get the less I want to discuss things with people- just a buncha bullshit.
Nah, you were exceptionally overbearing. Like other Saudis...
but hey, seems like that's changing a little now that the bore is creeping in to real life...

Basically, yup.
Wife has tried drumming the whole thing into me : "You're opinion : I don't give a shit about it."
AKA "I don't care what they said... who f*cking cares?!?"

Yeah however im having trouble telling if its just me becoming more antisocial or me just being realistic about the actual results of sharing opinions with folks.
Nah. I watched a Jynx Maze video earlier and have already experienced all the high quality visual stimuli I need for the day.

I remember back in 2010 on GAF some guy was gloating about how he was going to have an awesome time with his girlfriend on Valentines day. And he posted an image of her to "show off" I guess.
So I proceeded to quote the image of her, surround the image with (http://i.minus.com/iNkrU7zwwRK39.gif) (http://i.minus.com/iFowBP7DL2ONd.gif) emoticons, and I typed some mean spirited, sarcastic quip (which I can't remember) but I can recall that it was made out of pure bitterness.
Also, I was still a junior during this time and I'm surprised I didn't get banned for doing that.

I think over what I say before saying it. I generally accept repercussions for my words before venturing them forth.
I have also never been the person who totally change personalities. I tend to just grow and accumulate, never disowning my past and never content with the idea of discontinued progress.
