I've read a few books on the subject and I can't say they affected my life in any significant way.

Stuff like The Satanic Bible and The Lesser Key of Solomon are pretty interesting from a pop-culture perspective, but I never really got around to sacrificing black roosters or dancing naked in the moonlight.

Foucaults Pendulium was basically well-written pretentious brain-spunk.

Hes a bit like the guy who wrote Catch 22, or would be if Name of the Rose was comparable word skill. It's not, and while enjoyable, isn't all that great.

Catch 22 is basically eternal.
