I just finished my re-watch of it, with my brother (his first time). Great show. I'm not particularly in love with Lewis in the show though. His performance is often rather strained, moreso than any British actor I can think of who fakes an American accent

this must be how British people view Peter Dinklage lol

Yep, I think Homeland is great so I don't have a big problem with it winning, but I would never pick Lewis over Hamm/Cranston.

How can one legally watch Homeland without Showtime? I'd like to watch it but already spend enough on HBO.

I thought it was a lot better than S4, which was pretty good but not amazing. But Homeland is basically the show I've wanted for years: a serious intelligence show that doesn't rely on action (ie 24) that seems believable. After my second watch of it I liked it even more, outside of "that" thing from the finale.
