I have them in a small shelf in my second bedroom

But they get dusty as shit and I want the space back. I want to load them up in a storage ottoman but I'd want them in boxes or something first. Do you guys just use shoeboxes or do you know of some things meant to fit carts properly?
-
As roms on my computer's hard drive.
-
I shoved them in boxes. If I had the room I might consider displaying them.
Horrible iPod pics:

I already have all the OG boxes and manuals stored as you do, demi. I guess you keep the carts in the boxes? I like having them reasonably accesible even though they only get touched a few times a year.
-
I keep it all stored in one spot. And they are still reasonably accessible. They're in my closet, or in that box.
I like to open the box up and go through my stuff sometimes :3
-
Since I don't have any of my old systems hooked up anymore, I decided to move them to boxes and bags in storage. All of my more current games don't take as much space.

I have racks for my disc based games, cart are in shoeboxes and travelbags >.>

I don't.
VC all the way.

Now that I've ripped all my Wii games I wish I could chuck em somehow without doing anything illegal. :'(
Would just leave my DS games. Then I can just buy most 3DS and all Wii U games off the eShop...
-
In combined eBay auctions

pussy

lol - i was all set to send my unboxed japanese snes and all my loose carts to Andrex - but alas, he refused.
All 200 of them.
Ah well, guess i'll just chuck em in the bin where they belong.
-
I just bought a bunch of Ikea BESTA units for my place, so I'll be storing them (along with all my other media) in there. Will definitely take some pics of the place when I'm done unpacking.
Imagine something like this but as one solid block broken up with some glass doors:

o hai dcharlie, i know a guy who it would be cheap to ship to
sure - let me sort my shit out into boxes and throw em your way.
-
Why would I want a bunch of Japanese games? ???
-
You can sell them and use the money to buy more Pokemon games.
-
Why would I want a bunch of Japanese games?
... says the screaming NFag.
There's nothing more disgusting than a horrible nthing that has no interest in the period/region where Nintendo truly dominated.
you are dead to me, Andrex. DEAD.

I don't accept gifts from strange men I've met on the internet without knowing what the gift is. I learned my lesson last time.
In any case, Oscar would appreciate them more, and I *am* kinda trying to be digital here. Nice offer, but it's on you that you never told me what it was.
Edit- And SNES is my favorite console, yo. SMW/YI and LttP are my favorites in their series.

But I already own all of them. ??? Except the crappy spinoffs. Only spinoffs I ever got were Snap and TCG. back in the 90's.

Why would you skip the Mystery Dungeon games? JESUS DICKING CHRIST ANDREX

Well, that's another lesson learned. lol.
I demand secret santa excludes me from getting Andrex.

Well, you sure are backing the right horse then

In the context of playing retro games, no.

But there are three new Pokémons this month. That's going to be expensive!

Could you, by any chance, redirect those my way? :-*

Cause they're (more) furry bait(-y than the main games) and the first few games were terrible?

People like to spread FUD but Nintendo has yet to disappoint when it comes to keeping your digital content.

bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... holy fuck.
"oh did you buy this already? Oh - i'm sorry - you bought a new device.... please buy it all over again!"
"oh you want to change machine because your last one broke? fuck you, buy all your shit again"
How does your own shit taste when Iwata pulls his cock out of your arse and asks you to gulp down his black wormy jizz?
I'd as much trust digital content in Nintendo's hands as i'd trust my cock in the hands of a maniac with a pair of scissors.
lets not forget the transfer method!
DO you have your old machine? and your new machine? are they linked up via Dickmin?
-
Dickmin, Twata, they are so cheesy but I love DC's Nintendo insults. :lol
-
The mere fact that nothing you purchase is even account based marks Nintendo off the chart.
There's no defense. Sony has this. Microsoft has this. Nintendo does not.
One would think, hey, maybe I can just transfer it via SD Card.
Nope. As it is, you're just buying it "just to buy it" -- you have no form of digital library to select from.
Silly Andrex.
-
I wasn't defending Nintendo's lack of accounts.
"oh did you buy this already? Oh - i'm sorry - you bought a new device.... please buy it all over again!"
What is this referring to? Cause it certainly isn't referring to DSi, 3DS, or Wii -> Wii U.
-
You have to have the consoles physically next to each other to do that, though.

I didn't say otherwise. Just that Nintendo does provide the option, which people (including Dchucks, apparently) forget.
-
I don't think anyone forgets, they're just appropriately ignorant of Nintendo's primitive customer service practices.
-
-drop wii or 3DS on floor
-fucked out of all DLC purchases

probably referring to the fact that if you bought nes games on the wii, and they're released on the 3ds, you have to buy em all over again. whereas the competition allows you to buy psx games and play them on all of their devices that support psx. that *is* kind of shitty.
i mean, nintendo isn't *quite* as bad as they used to be, or as bad as some people think, but they're without question the worst of the bunch right now. i'm hoping the wiiU's account system finally brings them up to what i'd consider a bare minimum in this area, but i'm not counting on them catching up all around anytime this millennium.
Ah I see. I don't disagree.
-drop wii or 3DS on floor

Not totally.
Also dropping a Nintendo system on the floor ain't gonna do nothin'. Try a couple floors.
-
It's especially difficult when you live in a country where Club Nintendo has been disbanded.
-
-drop wii or 3DS on floor
-fucked out of all DLC purchases
nah, as long as your club nintendo account is linked and you send it to nintendo, they'll move everything over. it's an inexcusable pain in the ass, but you don't have to lose everything.
give me a break
Anyway if we can separate from the Andrex Show, here is my new approach

Bob's Discount Furniture? You're in the northeast, Admiral?
-
Word
That's an ottoman that was full of stupid candles, now the games are in there and the stupid candles (and an iHome) are on the shelf in the second bedroom. Since my wife is the primary user of the room it all works out
-
I would stack them flat, instead of like how they are. You can cover more space and fill it with more games.
-
I know but I like seeing the labels.
The only benefit would be inclusion of N64 games, but the N64 is in the second bedroom anyway so not much upside. If I wind up with a ton more old ass games then I'd have to rework it.
