Man, this game is still too good. I had the SNES original back in day and I played the heck out of it. I was feeling a bit nostalgic for it after being a tad disappointed with NSMB2.
I was waiting on it for the 3DS VC, but Nintendo and their incompetence still doesn't have the Ambassador games up for purchase. So I bought a used copy online.

Fantastic game and probably my favorite 2d platformer.
YI2 is great too.

I enjoyed that one too. It really got hard near the end.

We don't say "hard" here. We say poor game design.

This is pretty much my single regret in going DD. :'(
y u no put this on vc, nintendo :maf

True fans are Ambassadors 8)

Damn my handheld finnickiness.
On the other hand, White 2 looks awesome in original-res on my XL. Can't imagine how tiny it would look on a normal 3DS in original mode, or how blurry it would look in scaled-up mode.
-
Then again, the GBA port was inferior anyways (sound and res.) I'll continue waiting for the superior SNES VC version. Some day... some day... :'(
-
Yea. Enjoy your wait. lmao.

I do have a SNES and the cart for this, it's just back home. Although, I think we lost the SNES somehow... Eh those knockoff consoles are pretty cheap.
Shame on you Nintendo for making me do this to play the perfection of Yoshi's Island! :maf :'(

The GBA version has extra levels.
-
Pfft.
-
Emulation, dummy.

:wag

::) you already bought the game twice dweeb
-
I'm scrupulously, tediously anal-retentive about piracy. But if the object in question isn't available to buy, emulation is the best way to go. But by all means give your money to bootleggers, you dribbling simpleton.

Andrex on blast... Nintendo appreciates your generosity

My SP broke a few months ago and Nintendo sent me an Advance Replacement/factory refurbished (effectively brand new) backlit Pearl Blue SP for $50. Didn't even bother requesting that I send my SP to them. Best deal ever especially when the eBay ones look like someone tried to scrub the cement with them.
Called a few weeks ago and was able to score another one but I guess they have less than 50 in stock. If you have an old SP (or OG GBA) laying around, you should be able to talk them into one too if yours "broke". I mean, these units are flawless. And for $50?!

Yoshi's Island looks like shit on the 3DS anyway. Has awful ghosting problems.
