best deal in gaming
-
So they are giving away every game currently on Vita ???
-
whelp time to stop buying vita games
-
PS+ on PS3 has been kinda stinking it up lately, they need to get on the ball
-
Uncharted and Gravity Rush are the two best Vita games :lol
It's a sort-of smart move, but came way too late, they should have been sprinkling PSN games in there from the Vita launch
-
Did Jet Set Radio finally come out on Vita this week? :hyper
The only thing new about this are the "free" Vita games. Plus has always offered full titles on PS3.
-
but i already played uncharted and gravity rush. what now? : (
-
play wipeout ???
-
I did on PS3 : * (
-
play jsr ???
between these free games, Sony smash and persona 4 next week the vita is ON
-
Wipeout on Vita is a bit different.
-
Sweet. Gravity Rush is one of those games I would've impulse bought. The others are not bad either.
only stinker for me is FFT because I own the ps1 version on PSN.
:bow Vita Ambassador Program :bow2
guess i'm def buying one next week.
-
I never asked for this
-
only xbots would hate free games :lol
-
Already got Uncharted and Gravity Rush, but I'll take some Wipeout.
-
$5 a month is basically free. You pay $7 to gbet advertised to and play online on Xbox and not get free games. Hth.
-
only xbots would hate free games :lol
Nah man.
I have Uncharted but not interested in the rest. I just want my Ys Vita fix. :(
-
maybe the ys psp games will be free. would like to play them myself
-
They are free if you got in on the IGN thing. Or $15 if you got in on the Target deal last year.
Yes, they get deleted when it expires, but I'm sorry to kill the circle jerk, but nobody fucking cares about a physical copy except fetishistic forum gamers. It's 2012. If you need a cloth map and pendant for Uncharted in order to make it feel special, you can make them yourself out of paper plates, macaroni, and glitter.
-
Can you subscribe for PSN+ for a month or 3? Or is it one year deal only?
$17.99 for 3 months or $50 for 12 months.
-
I was fine with PSP as digital only, I mean I bought a Go...
But Vita games = bigger size and I don't plan on buying another memory card
And there is the whole one profile on one card bullshit or something just too much headache and I am getting old for this shit blahblablahisuckcocks

Somebody is projecting, again...
-
Excellent news for me since I want to play both Uncharted and Jet Set Radio.
-
So you can sub for $18 and finish all those games worth like $300?
Holy crap.
That's even better pricing than iOS!
Makes sense. Nobody on iOS or PSN make profit...
-
Here are $40 year cards for USA PS+ :

i don't fetishize about boxes, i fetishize about the good ol' days when videogames were good.
-
This is really cool. Only thing I have is wipeout.
-
Cool stuff. I was planning on getting Uncharted during one of these winter deals, and JSR Vita whenever that came out. Heard good things about Mutant Blobs (was gonna get the PC version).
The Final Fantasy Tactics is the PSP version, right? I'm assuming you can play that on the PSP just fine. PS Plus PS1 games can be played on the PSP.

I think it's going to be like PS3 where you have a swarm of great retail games at first, then it's downloadable games from there. I mean, there aren't that many Vita games to give away for free. I'm guessing we'll see a lot of PSP games; I'm OK with that.
-
Oh look, clearance offers!
That said, I'm snagging Uncharted, FFT, and JSF.
-
Yeah, it's Tactics: War of the Lions, so the PSP version. Great collection, even though I own Gravity Rush, Tales from Space, and Tactics.
-
yarrr I just bought a physical copy of Gravity Rush last weekend. Time to sell it off.
-
Didn't JSR Vita get delayed again?
-
Time to sell off my boxed versions of those games and pick all all three downloadables

Yeah, this is a good idea. I'm not sure not how much they're worth though, probably pennies by now.
Edit: Dammit, I remembered that I bought GR digitally.
-
PS+ is starting to look really attractive seeing as how I don't actually buy games for my PS3. "Renting" games for $50 a year is nothing.
-
Didn't JSR Vita get delayed again?
No, seems it was delayed so SEGA could launch with PS+ it comes out next week.
-
Can you download these games from the normal PS3 store or wherever? I don't have a Vita yet but I'll probably get one someday and it would be kool to have a bunch of older PS+ games ready to go.
-
Yes.

Pretty sure you can, yeah. Maybe things have changed but I find it faster to download games directly onto the Vita, instead of downloading to the PS3 then transferring to the Vita.

http://gematsu.com/2012/11/jet-set-radio-ps-vita-mobile-versions-dated
Sega has announced final dates for the PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android versions of Jet Set Radio.
The PlayStation Vita version will launch on November 20, while the iOS and Android versions will launch on November 29.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to Jet Set Radio free of charge from November 20 to December 31.
Imma LOL if all the Vita games have fixed access times like this.

isn't that just the download window? not just the time to play it?
-
Appears to be the download window, yeah. Still stupid.

i think that means you can dl for free until that date, not that you can only play it for free until that date. i could be wrong though
-
Isn't that how the PS3 PS+ games work though?
-
yeah. that's what i'm basing it on.
-
yeah, as long as you start the download within the time frame (or "purchase" it for $0 now, i guess), it stays in your download/purchase history, and as long as you are a ps+ member you can redownload and play any time you want
i start the download and cancel out everything just to keep it in my download history for that reason
-
Appears to be the download window, yeah. Still stupid.
you think they're going to keep every free game they've offered up all the time or do you not know that you can just click to download and it stays in your history.
even if you let your membership lapse, when you resub, anything you've hit "download" on will be in your history.
-
Yeah, I've long since given up trying to download everything that's free on Plus, I just "purchase" the free games now and don't download them so I'll be able to get them sometime in the future. Not a bad system at all really.
-

I know all this, herp derp, etc.
It's stupid because new members won't have access to that previous content. Wouldn't it make PS+ looks more attractive to have a huge library of content you can sign up for, all accessible at once, rather than on a rotating basis? That's what I mean by "stupid."

oh, totally. and as anti-penny pinching tactics + pro-consumer as I am, that would not be a good business move. Then people would wait out and they'd get a ridiculous amount of content with a sub. There'd be no incentive to buy games ever haha
