Want to pick up the 16GB version for me and my girl. Main purpose is just browsing, maybe some netflix and movies, some Android games (LOL). Would this be a good buy or should I got for something like the Kindel Fire HD?
Is it possible to hook it up to the PC to put media on it?
Is it possible to have multiple user profiles?

I have a 16GB and I love it. It's fast plays games (LOL) and the aspect ratio is perfect for my comics and toilet series watching

-Yes

-Havent tried it but you should be able to add another gmail account

I've had it for a month or two now, and I'm still on the fence.
Battery life has been really poor for me, I charge it more than my iPad, while I use it half as much.
Multiple users is available since the latest update.

it's a fun device, i use it more than my ipad for reading kindle books, listening to music, etc.
nice size for handheld gaming, too
i think it's too small for comfortably reading comics (that just might be my eyesight, though), and for doing any kind of productive activity unless you have a bluetooth keyboard
i agree that the battery life isn't all that great

Sounds good enough for my lady though and for me, thanks for the feedback dudes!

I got mine when they first came out and really liked it for the first few weeks or so, but the lack of a variety of strong tablet-specific apps REALLY drags it down to me. I didn't buy this thing to look at a blown up version of Twitter from a 4 inch android phone.
Also the latest firmware is absolute horseshit.

Yay love mine even if its just 8gb

iPad 4

I have a 16gb, nay

Its greatest attribute is that it's cheap. It's not bad for the cost.

Well for ~$300 you can get the Nexus 7, Kindle 8.9, iPad mini, or a used iPad2.
The 8.9 Kindle has the best physical specs of all of them and the iPads have the most apps available. The Nexus 7 is somewhere in between but it starts $200 so it's not that easy to compare.

I love mine. I use it for class and a lot of general stuff like facebook and whatnot. I don't know if they still offer it, but the $25 Google play credit is pretty nice too.

I think the $25 offer expired

Why nay?

It's kind of cheapish in what it can do, 16gb is pretty small, and it fails in my main want for it in reading pdfs (its too small). Browsing isn't the best either, I much prefer my laptop. The 10 might be better.

If you're mainly reading stuff then yeah, a10 inch screen tablet is more ideal. But I think the smaller size makes sense if you're mainly doing web browsing and movies.

After getting used to it, I really like the new swype-style keyboard on Android 4.2. Using a capacitive stylus, I can now "type" faster than using my thumbs in portrait mode.

I just bought one for
memy daughter for xmas. It's a shame the $25 promotion ended. :(
