Bundle of 100 shares of THQ stock, pay what you want!
-
Hnnngh
Already have Darksiders and Metro and just bought Comapny of Heroes&Opposing Fronts couple days ago on a Steam sale >:(
-
Just bought everything including SR even though I cannot run them, :bow THQ :bow2
-
SR3 on PC has co-op right? I already have a Steam copy but it may be worth getting one more for my bro to co-op with...
-
I have like 4 of those games already :gloomy
-
I also own four of those. Too bad they didn't include the Dawn of War games. Maybe those will be added in a few days for people who beat the average.
-
Has to be one of the saddest things I've seen in a while. Already have all the games but I'll get it for the OSTs.
-
I would feel guilty for chipping in on this.
Will make mental note to purchase Darksiders at full price sometime later.
-
THQ's final present to the gaming community before they file bankruptcy. :bow2
-
WOW! I should do that for a Christmas gift for a friend.

WOW! I should do that for a Christmas gift for a friend.
If you do, please beat the average. Even if you give it all to charity and none to THQ, it'll help bring more games to the bundle and drive the price up more.
I was thinking $10.
-
this is like a former child star doing porn....
$5.30 for Metro and Saint's Row 3, hell yeah :lol
-
Somebody photoshop the THQ corporation building on to a homeless beggar on the street plz.
THQ is really going out on a very public show of "we are fucked" note.
-
I'm surprised that Notch hasn't put $10k down on that bundle yet.
-
guess i'll buy this even though i bet i can't run any of the non-CoH games and i already own CoH and OF
-
i was going to give it all to charity
but then i thought to myself
"I think THQ needs the money more than charity at this point"
-
Yes please
-
Already own Darksiders and SR3, not sure if Metro is worth $5ish :-\
-
so pay $1?
-
give it all to charity
-
Buying this bundle is like groping a passed-out drunk girl.

Grabbin a titty is still grabbin a titty in the end.
-
Surprised they don't get that shit like this is WHY no one buys their games at full price. We've all made a subconscious connection between "THQ" and "will be 5 bucks in a month"

The logical endpoint being, "THQ will be 5 bucks in a month."

None of these games are exactly brand spanking new releases...
-
I can download these at anytime, right? DOn't have the HD space for them at the moment and the CoH games are the only ones that will run on my laptop anyway.

I'm pretty sure Darksiders 2 was 50% off within the month it came out. These may not be new games, but they're a pretty pathetic reminder that THQ will eventually give you their games for whatever is in your pocket at any given moment.

Top spender is Jason Rubin, President of THQ.
Runner-up is Turtle Rock Studios, who're working on a shooter to be published by THQ (previous made Counter-Strike and Left 4 Dead).
Closing in at $2 million. Most profitable Humble Bundle ended at 5 or 6 million. Don't think the Humble Store people disclose the profit split. Default has 60% going to THQ.
and completely unrelated (but absolutely related) here's this new gameplay trailer for Company of Heroes 2.

Additional games would be on separate keys, no?
-
THQ president Jason Rubin has given $1000 of his own money to the Humble THQ Bundle.
That is, $1050. Turtle Rock Studios, the developer making an unannounced studio for the embattled publisher, paid $1024.
The THQ Humble Bundle, which launched yesterday, allows players to name their price for a collection that includes: Metro 2033, Darksiders, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes and its two expansions, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. If you pay more than the average you get Saints Row: The Third as well.
The astonishing deal set tongues waging last night and saw THQ's stock price rise almost 38 per cent.
At the time of publication there were 343,216 purchases. Total payments were $1.965 million. The average purchase was $5.73.
Other contributors include @WrapBootstrap ($1000), an anonymous buyer ($600), YesTheTruthHurts.com ($300) and GameDev.net ($251).

Dudes,
If I pay with PayPal, do I get the codes emailed? I'll buy it just for the hell of it.

wow @ that stock jump.

Dudes,

They email you a link with the key page, when you go to the page it gives you your keys IIRC.
-
I bought it. Can I access all my keys separately? Their description makes it sound like I only get one key and I can't access it if I fuck this up.
-
I didn't buy this bundle, but usually there's one key for the main bundle and a second key for the Beat the Average game(s) (in this case Saint's Row 3).
-
So I can't give out the games separately? I don't plan on using these. I just wanted to be a bro and help out THQ.
-
I bought it. Can I access all my keys separately? Their description makes it sound like I only get one key and I can't access it if I fuck this up.
For now you get two keys: one for Saint's Row the Third (if you beat the average) and one for everything else. If more games are added in the future, those will be on a third key.
-
Ok so how does it work with steam? You just add the humble bundle and it adds all those games at once? What if you own some already?
-
You can add to steam or gift each key seperately and you get all the games associated with that key. If you already own a game of a key you add for yourself, you're out of luck, you can't gift those if they're on the same key.
-
Ok. So basically it's an all or nothing deal? I paid the average so I should have the bundle and Saints 3.
-
You can give the Saints Row key separately from the other bundled games. That's it, though.
-
1 Key for Saints Row 3, one for the 6 other games. If there are additional games added to the bundle (this was the case for most off the humble bundles) those will be on a third key.
-
Awesome. I'm surprised that it seems SR3 actually runs well on my computer.
Anyway off to try these other games I've never played.
-
Metro, Saints, and Darksiers are good. Red Faction was pretty wack. I dont play RTS.
-
Does anyone want or knows someone who wants SRIII?
-

I've actually made it half way through Metro on Xbox. Pretty good game. Very atmospheric. I beat SR3 on consoles. Pretty good game, but I think the middle drags a bit.
Does anyone want or knows someone who wants SRIII?
I actually do.
-
PMed
-
Titan Quest and Red Faction Path of War DLC are the extra bonuses for beating the average. Both are separate individual keys.
-
I havent given my stuff away -- is that stuff in my gift as well?
-
The keys for Titan Quest and the Red Faction DLC should show up when you visit the link they sent when you first ordered.
Does anyone want my Titan Quest Steam key? I already have it.
-
I'll take it please. Gonna multi it up with the missus.
-
PM sent!
-
I'm also giving away my key for Titan's Quest to whoever wants it.
-
If no one else wants it I'd love to have it.
-
PMed
-
Excellent. Thanks man.
-
no problem
-
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Game of the Year Edition added as another bonus for beating the average.
Average is currently $5.63. 764k+ purchases. $4.3 Million.
