Right now my footwear consists mainly of Clark's Desert Boots (suede leather, an absolute no-go for rainy weather), my running shoes, Oxfords (also a no-go in the rain), and some shitty old casual shoes that I don't mind getting wet, but which look like crap.
I'm looking for something sturdy, mostly waterproof, and good-looking. Not rubber galoshes or rain boots.
Recommendations?

I have a pair of Garmont that are completely water-proof made out of Gore-Tex-like material. They're very comfy although not particularly good looking. There are loads of different models from brands that typically make hiking boots.

I've had a few Timberlands before and they all fell apart quickly.

What is your price range? Look at redwing beckmens or iron rangers. Or ll bean, if that is your thing.

I'd recommend not buying those Staffords online. I have those, but in the Oxford, not the boot, and they run about a size and a half to two sizes too big. I hadn't worn a pair of 9s since I was in middle school.
