Lots of these are either new game +1 or game in progress:
Diablo 3: New game +1 essentially, 60+ levels with my wizard
Mass Effect 3: Second time through using a save from ME1/2 which I played through in Dec
XCOM: Only 2 hours in- first interrogation
Valkyrie Profile 2: Beat this on PS2, playing through emulated on my laptop
Persona 4: Finished this on PS2 w/true ending, playing on Vita
Borderlands 2: New game +1: True Vault Hunter w/Soldier
Baldur's Gate 2: I've never finished this game, always make it really far then drop it. Grinding quest arcs prior to transport to spellhold
-
It needs to be a game I own! But if that's what youre playing, that's cool too
-
I need help picking, im swimming in possibilities #whiteuppermiddleclasswhine

I played like 4 hours of AC3 today.

Who knew Louisville fans would be so obnoxious. And few very of them are attractive females
-
Looks like stuffs starting to shake out- good. I'll roll with whatever starting 7am tomorrow, if its a tie im not sure what i'll do just yet.
-
I'm playing Persona 4, you should too.
-
I tried to earlier tonight but I had already had some to drink and wasn't paying attention to anything and it just ended badly- playing on Hard so messing up is a little less ok

I'm playing XCUM all day.
-
SHITS GETTIN LOPSIDED- I better start preppin the troops I spose

XCOM is starting to annoy me. This woman keeps telling me to capture some thin men but I cant get close enough before they blast my face off. Then some other thing killed my dudes through a wall.
-
I captured my first alien on the bomb mission cause everything was scattered and omg dat train yard cover- I still lose some good people cause im a ROOKIE. My main heavy and snipers are still alive though- they form the core as long as I don't screw up.
-

-
Looks like a whole lotta xcom for me today
-
Inspired by your thread, I'm going to have a gaming marathon today as well. It won't be anything as cool as XCOM though. Just going to be playing 3DS.
-
did a little marathon of Skyrim. finally managed to break 100 hours.
-
Voted X-Com because it seems like the best game on the list.
I'll probably play a ton of Virtue's Last Reward today because I'm sick and don't feel like doing anything that requires dexterity.
-
I'm helping my mom build IKEA furniture all day :-\ - otherwise I'd be catassing P4 right about now.
-
Yakuza 5 :rock
Is it probable that this will get localized? It looks really awesome and might actually be the game that sells me on a PS3, but everything Sega has publicly stated sounds like there's not a snowball's chance in hell it'll show up in the west.
-
Oh jeeezus that first mission in montreal- god damnnnnnn off to 7-11 for a big gulp break before rage
-
I'm playing Call of Cthulhu, euro jank etc etc.

Dark Corners of the Earth?
-
That opening of Bioshock is still damn affective after all these years. Mark of a true classic that one.
-
I'm busy playing Lost Odyssey. It might be the best Final Fantasy game since Final Fantasy X. 4 Heroes of Light was pretty good too though.
-
Bioshock 2 Minervas Den is one of my top gaming experiences ever

Did that ever come out on PC?

Okay, I've got B2 on Steam but it doesn't look like Minerva's Den is on Steam. I need to buy it from the Microsoft Marketplace and then manually install it?
-
that's how I remember doing it- I don't have a boxed copy

try it so i dont have to! its only 5 bucks. basically no risk.
-
If you've got gfwl games installed on win8 you'll need to uinstall the gfwl client via programs/features and then reinstall from the web @: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/PC/DownloadClient - save the installer then adjust properties for compat mod Windows 7 and run as admin - then your gfwl games should run fine. Both Dark Souls n SFxTekken weren't starting up until I did this

I would, but Microsoft is giving me grief because I'm using a different computer than the one currently listed in my account as my "trusted computer." NO KIDDING IT'S DIFFERENT YOU BRAIN DEAD IDIOTS I HAVE A NEW COMPUTER NOW. Geez.
And I'm still using Windows 7, so no problems there.
-
you should be able to link the machine to your live profile through profile settings @ www.live.com - overview, security info- you'll see a space showing trusted machines and machines with pending confirmations- adding a new trusted machine should have a process that's provided to you

I bought it a while back to use with my retail copy. You buy and download it from the Games for Windows Live client, and next time you launch Bioshock 2, there will be an option to play the Minerva's Den campaign. I think the files for Minerva's Den (and GFWL DLC in general) is kept in a different location than the main folder.
I don't know why Steam doesn't sell it. I bought that Harley Quinn for Batman Arkham City and it gives GFWL serial number.
-
aight here goes
i think i was spoiled as what the story in the DLC was BUT I TOTALLY FORGOT
-
I HOPE SCIENTIST LADY COLD HEART IS HAPPY WITH HER FLIGHT COMPUTER BULLSHIT MY AWESOME SNIPER DIED AHHRHGHGHGHG. My shotgun assault class got revenge though- point blank to the face
-
do i need to go through bioshock 2 to play/understand minerva's den?
-
Nope, I've never even really touched the original campaign- Minervas Den made the sale purchase of Bioshock 2 totally worth it even if all I played was the DLC though so wheeeee
-
No. For the most part it's a stand alone entry in the series. Maybe a third of Bioshock 1/2's length. It's like those old exp...exponent...experience packs? whatever they called DLC in the 90s.
Some of the mechanics aren't fully explained since it assumed you played Bioshock 2, though. The main thing is how little sisters work here. In short, you defend them as they collect adam, so it's more work than bioshock 1. Once all the Little Sisters are collected in the level, you fight a Big Sister.
-
Aww yeah dat satellite uplink action
-
Bioshock 2 doesnt support 360 controller... wtf
Normally this wouldn't be an issue but Bioshock doesnt control right for keyboard/mouse at all for me.
-
just found that Mass Effect 1 doesn't either. but there's some bullshit I just DL'ed that fixes it, hopefully.

None of the Mass Effect games do, or Dragon Age either for that matter because Bioware is dumb something something creative intent SHUT UP ENTITLED GAMERS.
-
Always thought ME1 did because it was outsourced. And yeah, I remember a video before Bioshock 2 released where the developers played up this PC specific interfacet. It was technically true and better than the busted Bioshock1, but still didn't feel natural compared to most other PC games, and they removed controller support.
Deus Ex HR had perfect support for both. You could use your keypad to enter door codes :bow2
-
controller patch for ME sucks, back to M/K
-
apparently minerva's den is impossible to pirate. i guess these greedy devs just dont want anyone to play their game
-
i bought that 2K shooter pack on amazon. Bioshock 1 won't even boot.
well, the whole pack was $5 after a promo coupon. I'll get $5 worth out of Duke Nukem Forever. Even if it's just to see what the fuck DNF is. Came with the DLC also.
-
Minerva's Den is 5 dollars so that's pretty cheap. Need Bioshock 2 first but that can be had cheap too.
Also, as discussed in the first page- if you're trying to run gfwl games on win8 with the gfwl client install provided with the game you may have problems starting the game- I have instructions on handling that on page 1, confirmed it works.
