Sometimes I get tags doing random shit like this when I click it
(http://i.imgur.com/QH99Y.png)
(notice the "/" in the preceding tag instead of the trailing tag)
And it randomly makes some of my text font size 8, also sometimes the advanced editor just refuses to process keystrokes I know I made .Hey if it happens a few times, I know im being a tard but I generally have to edit every second post to correct shit. Also it adds line breaks all over the show :/

I only use chrome and I never have these problems.

It's rich as fuck in mine.

Yeah, but thats only for demi

I don't use Chrome, sorry. Time to upgrade to a better browser -- IE10/9

I use Chrome at work and it seems fine to me.
-
Chrome works for me (when I am at home). Aside from the usual gif loading problems it always has.

Actually thinking about it, it was broken on Opera, Firefox and Chrome on my old PC. I have a totally new PC now with zero carry over, different OS and it still does this. And since no one else seem to be having this issue it's likely my ISP's transparent cache being shit.

It's 6 "works for me" versus your 1 "doesn't work for me"
Majority rules, sorry.

Yeah, same here.

:rofl
Never had these issues but I usually just type the tags out because I'm awesome at typing.
It works fine other than the gifs, which I open in a new tab for it work if I'm really interested.
Highlighting the GIF with your mouse also fixes them.

It surprises me how shit chrome is on windows. It's fantastic on Linux/OS X, but no on windows it has (among other things) shitty font rendering out the wazoo.
-
Aside from fonts (which is kind of a Windows problem) Chrome is great on Windows, the integration is very tight (dunno about W8.)
Fonts are better on Linux, if you install mscorefonts, but the integration is quite a bit less. Even getting it to put the tabs in the native system title bar is a headache if you're not using Ubuntu Unity.

Works for me.

Eh, it seems pretty well integrated on Linux for me. You're spot on about the rendering being a windows issue though, I guess I should really be bitching about Microsoft's engineers.
edit: 'cause like, that's something WPF should really have fixed.
-
It's also a pain to set Chrome as the default for anything in Linux, but that might be more of a Linux thing.
-
i just found Chrome runs about 10 degrees hotter on my gpu than Firefox. back to firefox.

:bow where do i donate

Apparently FF20 is taking out the "Esc to stop GIFs" thing, just a heads up yo. Pretty lame.

even with 10 gifs running on a page, FF doesn't heat up my GPU like chrome!

chrome using WPF, that's a good one
but Firefox is the only browser on Windows with good font rendering these days - IE used to, but they seriously borked it on Windows 8 by removing subpixel rendering, wtf
-
why does chrome work the gpu so hard? I don't get it. My temps go up exactly 10c just for opening it.
-
opengl lol, same reason blizzard games send gpu temps through the roof

The only thing that pisses me off about Opera is the lack of a refresh all, if it wasnt for that I would never be in any other browser
