Really really liking this. That reminds me, does anyone know is Soil & Pimp Sessions are still around and making new music? I still listen to their Planet Pimp album every now and then. Here's one of my favorite tracks from it:

Oh, I know this guy. I heard Down Town in a mixtape mp3 put out by an expat blogger a few years ago. I never knew who the song was by, or why a cover of it suddenly started showing up in sets streamed from Mogra (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mogra1). Good stuff.

Beezy, if you're into jazz at all, check out Indigo Jam Unit. They're a trio of hip hop nerds, so their style is very bassline heavy
