This is not that issue and those kinds of Americans are not posting on the Bore or even NeoGAF. Those types would call for a banning of the game (though GAF might have some "progressive" white-knights who would misguidedly say the statue has no right to exist.) Finding this statue disagreeable (not even offensive, it just has a lot of dumb angles going for it) is not some sign of prudishness.

Violence is easier to see from outside and easier to blame for instances of real-world violence, so outside critics go after that. Violence is more endemic to games and generally easier to accept within the community than issues of sexism. It's a lot easier to remove sexism without giving games an existential crisis than to remove violence.

Value judgements, like how much and which kinds of violence are okay, seem to be in roughly the same realm as discussions of sexism in games.
