I think it's the big K.O. for my phone this time. It started off saying that the SD card had been removed (even though it hadn't), so I went to reboot it. Now it just stays on the boot screen. :'(
Suggestions on where to get a smart phone on the cheap? I don't get to upgrade my phone until August...
[Edit]
On the phone with Verizon, who put me over to the manufacturer because it was past their warranty. The manufacturer rep said my phone was FIVE days past the manufacturer warranty, but he was going to try and cut me a break and see if he could get them to fix it anyway...

check NYC bathrooms for abandoned iphones

It would cost me more to go to NYC than if would to buy a new phone!

My xbox 360 just red ringed on me, I know your feel. :(

honestly if you have some cool friends post a sad message on facebook... I got an old HTC smartphone for free cuz a friend was upgrading and didn't need it any longer. If you have phone junkie friends it might be worth a shot.

I did. I'm somebody takes pity on me. (I just paid for Minecraft on it like a week ago and I really liked playing it in class, so I don't know what I'll do now...)

Well, HTC agreed to fix my phone for me!
The only downside is that it could take anywhere from 14-30 BUSINESS DAYS. :'(

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll give you a newer model.

I had this problem on 3 of my HTC phones. Doing a hard reset would fix it. Usually powering on while holding the volume up and down buttons down. In short, I'm never buying another HTC phone again.
