Title: Will SE ever make a game as good as Chrono Trigger again?

I rank TWEWY pretty close. But let's be honest, games like Chrono Trigger don't come along very often in the entire industry. As per what Sho Nuff said, the modern Square doesn't seem to have the talent available for something like CT. Not to say there aren't people working in the company that couldn't, but that those people have basically no clout and are in indentured servitude to a bunch of clowns.

Gameplay is ACE, it's one of the most addicting RPGs I played this year. I always ran to the next battle and I tried to do every sidequest even though I don't have time to play vidya and I generally hate fetch questing. That's how fun it was.

But then the Ending will hit you and FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF LIGHTNING RETURNS WHY I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS
