Post by: thisismyusername on February 20, 2013, 09:29:34 PM: I honestly like the ideas of the social gaming recording/photo taking/streaming stuff on the PS4. It's something that I've kinda wanted on consoles this generation and if they can do better rendering for Youtube than the PS3's Youtube rendering (which is HORRIBAD), I'm all for it. But I'm fully expecting Sony to go completely distinguished mentally-challenged in the run-up to launch and cut things like this simply for the sake of performance or whatever.

But anyway, I don't think I'm getting on the PS4 train for a good long while. The lack of PS3 BC kills the console for me. I don't like leaving previous generation consoles hooked up to play my backlog so having to Gekai or whatever them isn't really appealing. I'll probably buy a PC at this rate given Steam and the whole nine yards there.

I'd hate to miss out on the ambassador perks, though. Like a copy of Quake 1 and Leisure Suit Larry VGA on Dosbox, prolly.

I do hope the 3DS and Vita pick up some good tactics games. I'm happy with the PS3 and 360 processing power as long as the game runs at 60 FPS like MGR.
