Title: CAR LOT RESCUE

This is exactly what it sounds like. Bar Rescue/Restaurant Impossible/Hotel Impossible/Kitchen Nightmares/Tabitha's Takeover/etc. but with car lots.

And it's just as awesome.

I used to think at some point there would be one of these types of shows I wouldn't be all over. But apparently this isn't that point.

Show makes me think about Men of a Certain Age though. :(

I can't take his sister as seriously when I see her barbed wire tattoo.

I wonder if it goes all the way around or if it's a Tom Gugliotta.

Wait so is this for people who fail at parking lot management or selling cars?

Considering that they generally aren't selling many cars, yes.

None of its many titles have been very specific that it's about car dealers:
Quote
The series' title has been changed many times through production. It was first named Car Boss, which was later changed to Car Lot Cowboy and was officially announced with its current name on December 11, 2012.
A lot of the files on Spike's server are still tagged with Car Lot Cowboy.

Oh selling cars seems like it'd be pretty shit in this economy even if you're good at it.

Like most of these shows, they aren't. And the owners are basically ignorant or have given up.

The episode from the week before the guy had hired like eight women or something to be "hostesses" whose only job were to sit in the front, greet customers and give them what was basically a powerpoint presentation. Then turn them over to one of the two or three male salespeople if they wanted to buy a car. The girls had no training or anything so they couldn't even answer questions about any of the cars or knew if they had it on the lot.

At like half of these people don't even know about the concept of "prospecting." They just seem to think they can set cars out and people will come in and buy them at asking price.

"Do you have one with a leather interior?"
"What's that?"
