It seems a laptop is the only way to game unless i want to get a second tv and sit in another room. Where do you guys play games?
-
:bow WiiU's off tv play :bow2
Usually that or the vita when someone else is on the tv and I feel like playing a game

Have you considered getting a handheld system?
I have my consoles in the living room, my gaming desktop in my home office, several handheld systems, a laptop and an iPhone. Even with four wives that wouldn't be a problem.
-
Desktop in my room. GF has her workspace in the living room so it's basically never free for gaming.
-
I have a mini mancave with a TV for gaming etc...also comes in handy for watching the stuff the family doesn't want to. Got my gaming desktop in the same room and it is hooked up to both the TV and 2 monitors and the TV's surround amp.
-
When I was a kid, I had two TVs in the same room and I would play games on BOTH OF THEM.

All the TVs in our house are 1080p with HDMI, so I can hook up the PS3 wherever, but it's pretty much always in the basement family room.
-
My TV is on the other side of the world. That's one of the problems with having lived a relatively transient life over the past few years, hard to justify buying anything you can't take with you. DS and a laptop with Intel graphics for me. :(
-
I have my PS3 hooked up in the family room. That room is also for general tv viewing, but Comcast cable sucks, so everyone watches tv in thier respective rooms. Leaving the room mostly for movies and games.
My 360(and wii lol) is hooked up to the pretty meh LG tv in my room. I pretty much use that for games and the occasional anime show or movie.
I have CRTV thats just for PS2 though.

I use my monitor for everything. Never got why people think sitting at the PC isn't comfortable. Lean back?
-
Laptop in the living room, or the iPad, or I go to my "office" (which is what I call my man cave).
-
Man I guess I have to look for a 3 bedroom house then to build a mancave.
-
I don't have a dedicated game tv, but my systems are all hooked up on my living room 65 inch tv. I have too many systems to hook them all up in the bedroom or something. Plus, when my friends come over I need a big space. When I want to play my wife will just watch tv in another room because there's a blu ray player connected to all tv's and she's cool like that.
-
No consoles are hooked up to the main tv anymore. The 360 and computer are in the office and the PS3 is up in mah boyz room. Technically the wii is hooked up to the main tv, but no one plays it.
-
I've usually got my consoles hooked up to the main TV in the living room, but whenever we've got houseguests, especially those with children, I move the 360 to my bedroom, where I've got a small HDTV waiting. If I wear my Sennheiser headphones, I don't even notice that the screen is smaller after a few minutes.
I'm so glad that developers pay more attention to sound this generation.

I have a 1080i CRT I keep around for old consoles

sittin on my computer right now wishing i could game on this bigass tv right next to me :sadcam

*whip crack sound* :smug
oh right, i'm not currently getting any :'(

I bought a monitor, that I put right next to the TV for console gaming, when the wife is watching crap like The Real Housewives Of Wherever, which is pretty much all the time. Hook in headphones if needed and I'm fine. We have another TV that's currently in the box...was thinking about hooking it up in the bedroom and getting another connection for it. If there's TV in the bedroom, I bet I'd get the living room back! :hyper

We had one of those, but the poor thing finally died. Pre-HD consoles looked fantastic on it.
