Title: E-commerce: Boreans get first dibs on my graphic novels and game art books
Post by: Don Flamenco on April 19, 2013, 04:07:36 PM
Here's the deal, I'm gonna post the raw list now without authors, prices, organization, then I'll clean it up throughout today and tomorrow (mostly tomorrow.)  If things are going well enough, I won't update it and people can just PM me for the full deal...now that I think about it, this is more likely to be the way I go.  I'm not gonna put in conditions like "good" "vg" "exc" etc. I can just get up and look at the book and tell you exactly what's good/bad.   None of this is like ripped up or with a broken spine or anything, but there are some with bends, dog ears, sales stickers, etc.

Prices: If you want something before I update the thread, I'll look it up and let you know what I want. Or you can look at the lowest price on amazon and ebay, average them, and make me an offer.  Just add like $3 for shipping, depending on the book's weight (can be found on amazon.)  I'm reserving the right to not ship something if it's like 10 pounds but i find out the only fair price is like $5. you'd be better off buying that from an amazon bulk seller who won't lose money on the transaction.

Payment:  Paypal only.  I do not accept bit coins :ronpaul   Email provided when we close the deal.

Shipping:  All this will ship media mail unless you wanna pay for something else, which I'll be happy to do.  But keep in mind, I'm one guy and if a bunch of you order, I'll have to take time to package, print shipping, etc. This stuff adds up to a big timesink faster than you'd think, too. So it may not be a one day turnaround if I get bogged, but I'll get through it as quickly as possible.  Please understand.

Feedback:  I'm a seasoned ebay seller, though I'm not too active these days.  But i'll do proper packaging jobs and tracking numbers and answer quickly and all that good stuff, unlike half the idiots who sell there
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=chooch612&ftab=AllFeedback

I'll be back in a few hours.

Yeah, part of me is like "you've got the PDF," the other part is saying i'm an idiot.  I'm leaning towards not selling it, unless someone gives me an offer I can't refuse.

I will look those up

There was a small reprint a couple years ago.  of course, it was still $230 or something like that from the publisher, shipped from italy.

man, I REALLY want the Codex, but I'm also buying a house this month...

does this mean I should save the money?

or that I'm spending so much already, I won't miss another $300? ;)

This.  Because after you get the house you'll be saying "I just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars" for a while as a justification for not buying shit.  So do it now

yeah and after a walk, i've decided to hold on to it.  IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM.   unless you wanna drop enough for another copy + profit for me :derp

I get the impression the book will go through occasional reprints.   It's this version (I wouldn't even try selling it for $480, that's just amazon marketplace idiocy):
http://www.amazon.com/Codex-Seraphinianus-Luigi-Serafini/dp/8817013897/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366407301&sr=8-2&keywords=codex+seraphinianus

i'll email the guy who was selling them online and see if he knows anything.   he had a buttload of copies so I'm guessing he's connected to the distributor or whatever
