Konami has now confirmed the Legacy Collection, which "will include Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition (which includes the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition. In addition, the collection will also include two Ashley Wood digital graphic novels."

Wow. I was literally looking for good deals on HD collection last week. This is a steal (at < $60).

Well I mean I pretty much have to get it without the BC. Maybe they can totally eliminate slowdown in these games next time.

Did they say those two are on CDs? I know that recent resident evil one just came with download codes for the ps1 games.
All I want from this collection is VR Missions on PSN, so hopefully it's a sign that it'll show up eventually.

MGS1 and VR Missions :drool

Man, that brings me back. I never figured out how to beat the very last VR mission.

it's possible they could do that.
I want Ac!d 1+2 on PSN :'(

Sounds like I probably have everything in this already. Metal Gear Solid will most likely come on regular PSOne discs like it did when Konami released the MGS Essential Collection for PS2.

might just buy this and be done with it but i'll have to see the price first.

Ehn, I really doubt Sony's going to start up the ol' PS1 disc-pressing machines just for one game. Pretty sure you're getting PSN codes here unless Konami was sitting on a bunch of old stock.
You may be right. However, the MGS Essential Collection was released in 2008 with MGS on PS1 discs. Don't know how logistically difficult it is to press them. PSN download codes would be totally lame, which means that's probably what will happen.
