Sailor Chris...  :uguu :drool

Anyway, I want to play this since it removes the RE6 dodging and goes back to 4-5's mechanics. But the aim-speed for the console ports is so screwed up.

It really is only 5 minutes long, haha. Mouse aiming seems kind of fucked as well. Diagonals are way less responsive than straight vertical or horizontal movements. Just doesn't feel right.

it has dodging, just RE3 style.

the FOV is too damn small.

I dont think its a very good Resident Evil. I was gonna buy it, but I'll probably just wait it out since I already beat it.

The Story Mode is nothing special, but Raid Mode is a lot of fun- it's the same levels, but with better enemy variety, co-op, and different weapons/upgrades you can earn or buy.  All of that should have been part of the story mode and I notice that pretty much everything extra this port is getting is being made for Raid Mode anyway.

It's too bad that you have to go through the Story Mode to get all of Raid Mode unlocked.   :-\

It's more like RE4, but with a bit of a slower-pace and a creepier atmosphere like the older games had.  And like Demi said, it's not as good, but IMO still worth playing (fuck the story mode; Raid Mode! :hyper) and it is better than RE6.

Cleared the first stage in Raid Mode using the mouse/kb controls.  That was way, way too easy- made precision shots a snap.

Yeah, IIRC the 3DS version was the same way- but you can only play the first four levels and have to unlock the rest by playing through the story mode.

I tried the Wii U demo the other day.  Looks better, oddly stiff controls that weren't there on the 3DS.  An enemy grabbed me and it asked me to wiggle the stick...turned off the system then and there.

 :stahp

3DS game asked you to mash the Y button when you were staggered.  I discovered the sole advantage analog sliders have over analog sticks.

Been reading that the Wii U demo has fucked up controls and aiming issues.  Don't know about the retail version.

This was a pretty cool game, I had a fun time playing it on 3DS. Better than 6 that's for goddamn sure

The final boss was a load of sheep shit though

Oddly stiff controls? I haven't tried to plug in a controller when I played the demo, but I noticed that diagonal movements were much less responsive than vertical or horizontal movements. I thought they were just badly adapted mouse controls.

kinda hoping for a patch that lets you adjust FOV, but it seemed to be running smooth.   damn well better be with those PS2 textures.

Played a bit of this today. It's okay. I mean it feels like a b league resident evil. Which it is coming from the portable. I like the pacing of it more than the modern ones of 5 & 6 but its not like this is an amazing crafting of the old school RE games. It's table scraps of that era.
