This game is not bad. There is nothing original about it outside of the setting but I played some of it yesterday and found it fun.

I tried the demo and through the gunplay was great.  Always enjoy the conceit of the game as a story being told.  The inherent goofiness of games, like dying multiple times or killing hundreds of enemies, can be written off as exaggerations or messing with the audience.

And I thought it was a retail game until I saw it in the XBLA area for $15.

I laughed when a character wielding a long piece of wood as an assault shield like in Call of Duty came walking out. The game is really just Call of Duty in a western setting with more goofy but fun upgrades.

I remember most people liked CoJ 2, but hated the one they made about federal agents fighting drug smugglers in modern-day Mexico. This is a return to the former.

Shooting feels good and I like the narration gimmick.

It's an xbla style title.

Why is it only $15?

It's along the lines of Blood Dragon... a stand alone expansion pack doo hickey for an engine they already had lying around.  I'm guessing there's 6-8 hours of gameplay?  We talk about this game and Blood Dragon in the new Cruncheons, coming soon. #humblepimpinthepodcast #goodgames #hashtagsareaids

The narrator in this game is hilarious. Honestly I think that's the main reason to play this one.

I was super curious about this, but can't justify picking up another FPS I won't find time to play. If I'm going to do this, it'll be Blood Dragons.
