I never cared for bacon.
Go eat some fries covered in mayonnaise.
-

I love bacon. Love it. I would marry it, then be arrested for cannibalism.
Bacon is a sign from god that he loves us.
I had a vegetarian girlfriend in college who said to me, "Bacon isn't meat. Bacon is a spice."
-
So good. Got this from the States.

Eating four strips of bacon right now. Then I'm using the bacon grease for my eggs.
-
living near wisconsin has its advantages, like having the best bacon:

Wal-Mart brand thick-sliced bacon. No shit, it's the real deal. You can make a BLT out of just two slices. I pepper mine a bit while frying.
-
I only eat bacon if it's in (or on) some other food, like baked beans or collard greens. I haven't had a stripe of bacon in years, and overall tend to avoid pork. Not for any religious reason, I just figure it doesn't hurt to avoid it when possible. I love pork chops but only have them once a year.
-
(I do like bacon)
I have a bacon calender on my desk at work, I have bacon delivery on speed dial, I have a tshirt of that hand dryer 'give bacon' meme/engrish thing. I'm pretty much a real life internet person in this regard.

I like bacon but it's a good contender for most overrated thing on the internetz..
-
been getting pork jowl lately to flavor my food. taste just like bacon but costs like 2.50 for a big ass piece. works great when you wanna make some bacon-flavored spaghetti.
-
Eating bacon, pork sausages, fried mushrooms and pita :noah
-
Git in ma belly, pork belly. :drool
-
What amazes me is that it's almost impossible to get proper bacon in the US, I don't want to turn this into a post about how shit the US is, but why are there also so many fat people, and what's the deal with corn syrup?
-
I never really liked bacon. Though I do like (real) bacon bits in some salads and stuff.

Skillet is awesome, they park their airstreams by my house sometimes.

Yeah, the bacon fad is just like zombies and cupcakes, absolutely ridiculous and overplayed at this point.
-
I didn't know bacon was a fad, or cupcakes.
Where is this happening? What kind of internet places?
-
Just had six strips of bacon and five eggs. :mouf
-
I have bacon maybe once a year
I guess what Im saying is I hate my life
-
Go have a baconator duder.
-
It's in America. Cupcake stores have sprung up everywhere in the last couple of years or so.
Hipsters tried making old school soda fountains the new thing, but that kinda fizzled out.
Pie has been/is the new hotness.
-
God damn. I love pie.
And there's basically NONE of it here in th' Nihonz.
-
I only really like Apple Pie for the dessert kind. I'm more interested in savory pies - Pepper Steak, Mushroom and Chicken, Chicken with Bacon bits, etc. Pukka pies :drool
-
I love apple the best, too; however, a good berry pie is hard to top, peach can be excellent, and my grandma's rhubarb custard pie was :drool
-
The tarts at Andersen's, a Kobe chain, are pretty good. They call them "apple pie," but it's not a slice of pie -- it's a little calzone of pie crust.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just not pie.
Edit: I mention Kobe, but the Yokohama Stn. branch was the first place I had these. I worked out of the Yokohama office for two days out of each week, for two years (which is how I know Cormacaroni, XFE, and Sho Nuff). Those pies and a big-ass Starbucks got me through many post-Cormacaroni recoveries. :-*

How do you guys prepare the goodness?
Oven? What temp and duration?
Stove top?
Microwave? :teehee
-
Frying pan, medium heat, sometimes black pepper on both sides, remove while still flexible and the fat is starting to brown
-
I've destroyed a few frying pans crisping bacon. I regret nothing
-
bake your own, breh.
just ate a club sandwich with 5 strips of BACON :noah
The funny thing is, most Japanese homes don't have an oven. So it's hard to bake for most people. I actually have an oven, but the butter and flour to put in a pie crust is prohibitively expensive. Half pound of butter is about four bucks.
Plus I would eat the whole pie.
-
The cupcake fad was ridiculous. $4 for some "designer" cup cake, feck off

How much are butter and flour at Costco?
-
I tried to dull the pain of Game of Thrones with eight strips of bacon and six eggs. It didn't work. :'( The power of bacon is only so strong.
-
Butter's not bad, and flour, I've never thought to price it. GETTING to CostCo by car costs about ¥5000 in highway fees. :-\

Went to a burger festival this past weekend. Sampled a slider that had a beef patty, a bacon patty, double cheese, regular bacon, and bacon dressing. (http://www.thestar.com/entertainment/2013/05/31/we_tasted_five_of_the_burger_weeks_most_talkedabout_slingers.html)
Glorious gluttony.
-
from what I remember, you run raw bacon through a grinder and fry it up as you would ground meat.

OMG a true bacon burger.
