Title: Going on a Bahamas cruise with the fam

Figured this was a common enough vacation trip that someone may have experience to help out

My cousin needs internet access for her to do some work for her job, especially the day we are at Freeport island. Has anyone been here and know of a place (library, hotel, etc) with stable access?

Just bring your Surface tablet and use the cloud enabled wifi.

I went on a cruise in 2001, to Mexico and the Cayman Islands. It was probably the coolest thing I've ever done.

Yea it was awesome. I had been outside the country for basketball tournaments before, but only to Canada. It was my first cruise, first time to Mexico, and I thought it was awesome. It was also shortly after 911.

The water was beautiful, the food was great, I had a blast eating ice cream at midnight, etc. Got to play some pick up basketball with natives near a large body of ocean, watching the sunset. Very cool

Cruiseships are a rapists paradise: Constantly crossing borders, transient staff, juiced passengers.

Well, my cruise just got potentially shitty. My one cousin who is about my age bailed. There goes my wingman and booze buddy. Main mission is to meet some kewl kids early on now

It's a high school graduation thing for my youngest brother. A bunch of his friends and families are going on it
