Honestly, the fact that I'm not locked in all sorts of bullshit covers up the fact that I have to pay for online. Plus with PS+ you still get all the free shit, something Gold has Already fucked up with their own "promotion".

That still seems like a possibility to me. Or maybe publishers are happy enough with paid multiplayer (aka monthly online pass) and will take a cut of PS+ profits.

Capcom was the only one that had the balls to do that this gen with Final Fight/Magic Sword (of all games) 

Tomb Raider had it but it got patched out, right? 


Maybe they'll all feel more inclined to use it this gen.

I've been a PS+ member since day 1 and I've rarely touched online MP in any of my games, yet I still hate the fact they went this route. Ugh. Gaikai with legacy access and co. features better be up to snuff.

Paying for online was an inevitability for Sony and everyone knows it...sucks but its true.  I'm just happy that PS+ covers everyone on the console - unlike shit Gold. 


Even if you don't pay for Plus you still get access to apps - no bs paywall.


I really don't know how this could be any better.

titanfall will not be a real exclusive.  Ps4 is getting even its a year later and with a subtitle.  Its also coming to 360, and PC in any case.

I wanted to give Microsoft the full chance to prove me wrong and give me a reason not to get a PS4. I consider myself a light MS fanboy, I'm paid for Live until March 14, I have a WP8 and I'd get a Surface Pro if I had a spare $1000. But even as much as Sony's first party titles fail to excite me, there's no logical reason for me not to get a PS4 over a 360. And that's including the price hike we're getting locally.
